Disconnect a social account
An authorized administrator can open the HF Signal Accounts page and select Disconnect for the provider. This removes the stored account authorization record and prevents future API publishing through that connection.
You may also revoke HF Signal directly from the connected platform's apps, websites, security, or authorized-services settings.
For YouTube, disconnecting removes the encrypted OAuth access token, refresh token, granted-scope record, token-expiration data, channel identifier, and saved channel profile metadata from HF Signal. You can also revoke access from your Google Account's third-party connections page.
For Reddit, disconnecting removes the encrypted OAuth access token, refresh token, granted-scope record, token-expiration data, account identifier, and saved account profile metadata. You can also revoke access from Reddit's authorized applications settings.
Request deletion
To request deletion of remaining integration records, contact the HF Signal operator through HFTools.org. Identify the platform and connected handle, but never include a password, access token, client secret, or recovery code.
Requests are verified against account ownership before deletion. Records that must be retained temporarily for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance will be isolated and removed when that obligation ends.
